Leadership Development services

A closer look at what each engagement involves, who it suits and what you can expect to walk away with.

One-on-one executive coaching session

Executive coaching

Our coaching engagements are designed for people who already hold leadership roles and want to get better at specific parts of the job. That might be giving direct feedback to senior peers, managing up more effectively, or transitioning from a functional role to a general management position.

Each engagement runs for 12 weeks. Sessions happen every fortnight, last 90 minutes and take place either in person at your office or via video call. Between sessions the coach is available for 15-minute async check-ins when something comes up that cannot wait.

What is included

  • An initial 360-degree feedback survey sent to five to eight stakeholders you choose
  • Six fortnightly coaching sessions (90 minutes each)
  • A written development plan co-created in session two
  • A mid-point progress review with your sponsor or HR partner
  • A closing report summarising themes, progress and recommended next steps

We pair you with a coach based on your industry background and the challenges you describe in the intake call. All our coaches have at least ten years of in-house leadership experience before becoming external practitioners.

Team workshop with collaborative exercises

Team workshops

Workshops are for intact teams that work together daily and want to improve a specific dynamic. We do not run open-enrolment workshops because the value comes from working on real relationships, not hypothetical ones.

Before the workshop day we send every participant a short diagnostic survey (takes about eight minutes). The facilitator analyses the results and designs exercises around the patterns that emerge. Common themes include unclear decision rights, feedback avoidance, and misaligned priorities across sub-teams.

Format options

  • Half-day (3.5 hours): good for teams that have one clear issue to resolve
  • Full-day (7 hours with breaks): suits teams dealing with multiple overlapping tensions
  • Two-day intensive: for leadership teams going through a restructure or merger integration

Group size ranges from 6 to 20. For larger groups we bring a second facilitator. Workshops happen at your premises or at a venue you choose; we do not have our own training rooms, which keeps costs lower and logistics simpler.

Emerging leaders presenting their applied project

Emerging leader programs

These are structured six-month cohort programs for people stepping into leadership for the first time or within their first two years of managing others. Participants meet twice a month for a 2.5-hour session that combines taught content, peer discussion and applied exercises.

Between sessions each participant works on a live project inside their own business unit. Projects are scoped in the first month with input from the participant's manager, so the work is directly relevant rather than a classroom exercise.

Program structure

  • Month 1: Self-awareness and personal leadership style (using a validated psychometric instrument)
  • Month 2: Having difficult conversations and giving feedback that lands
  • Month 3: Delegating effectively and building trust with new direct reports
  • Month 4: Influencing without authority across teams and functions
  • Month 5: Managing performance, including underperformance
  • Month 6: Project presentations to sponsors, reflection and forward planning

Cohorts are capped at 14 participants. We find that groups smaller than eight lose the diversity of perspective, while groups larger than 14 make it hard for quieter voices to be heard. Pricing is per participant, with discounts for organisations enrolling two or more cohorts per year.

Facilitation and strategy off-sites

Sometimes you do not need a development program. You need someone external to facilitate a planning day, a strategy review or a difficult conversation between senior leaders. We offer standalone facilitation by the day, with a pre-session briefing call included.

Typical engagements include annual strategy off-sites for executive teams, post-acquisition integration planning sessions, and board-level discussions about succession. The facilitator prepares a structured agenda based on your objectives, manages the room dynamics on the day, and delivers a written summary of decisions and action items within 48 hours.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with organisations outside New South Wales?

Yes. Most of our clients are in NSW, but we regularly travel to Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra. For remote or regional locations we can run coaching sessions by video and workshops in person with travel costs quoted separately.

Can we customise the emerging leader program content?

The six-month structure stays the same because it gives participants enough time to practise between sessions. The content within each month, however, is adjusted based on your organisation's context, industry and the specific challenges your new leaders face.

What qualifications do your coaches hold?

All our coaches hold an ICF credential at PCC level or above. Each has at least ten years of in-house leadership experience before transitioning to coaching. We also require ongoing supervision and professional development hours each year.

How do you measure results?

For coaching we use a pre-and-post 360-degree feedback survey and track progress against the goals set in the development plan. For workshops we collect participant feedback on the day and follow up with managers at 30 and 90 days. Emerging leader programs include a sponsor review at the six-month mark.
